New York, August 28, 2011 - New York Christie offers the bright yellow, a rare, very saturated with fancy yellow diamond carat brilliant 32.77, as the star of the Oct. 18 sale of magnificent jewels.
The golden color of this great pear-shaped stone is so hard and so deep that the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), is among the rarest jewels in its class.
The stone is expected to reach over U.S. $ 6 million.
"The bright yellow color with flames literally, as opposed to a yellow diamond I have ever seen," said Rahul Kadakia, head of jewelry for Christie Christie America.
