Cartier Patiala necklace
V & A's new Maharaja: the Splendour exhibition Raj is not only a brilliant idea of the size of the Indian ruling class, but also a wonderful opportunity to see the incredible Patiala necklace, the largest single part of the Commission that Cartier has never been implemented . A ceremonial necklace was completed in 1928 and renovated in 2003 and originally consisted of not less than 2,930 diamonds, weighing about 1,000 carats.
