CHANEL has looked to the first ever fine jewellery collection designed by Mademoiselle Coco in 1932 for its latest haute joaillerie collection. A selection of the Plumes de Chanel range was unveiled in Paris during Couture Week and the entire collection is set to be exhibited in September as part of the Biennale des Antiquaires, in a 75-square-metre space designed by Peter Marino. In an ode to Coco's creative vision, the jewellery is inspired by the feather motif explored by Gabrielle Chanel in 1932 and the centrepiece is an oversized, fully articulated brooch that can be worn anywhere on the body.
